Flying Start is a Welsh Government funded programme which provides children aged 2-3 years and their families who live in certain areas, with funded care for 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday for 42 weeks of the year.
It is well recognised that children’s early years are an important period and experiences at this time greatly impact children’s future development – so it is very important to get it right!
The Flying Start Programme aims to support you and your children with parenting aid, resources, and support you may need. This support covers plenty of different issues that may be affecting you and your family. These include caring for your new baby, feeding, weaning, sleep routines, potty training and behaviour issues.
Eligibility to access all four core elements of the Flying Start programme is dependent on the local authority's requirements, if you have any questions about your own eligibility, please get in contact with them.

At Pobl Bach, we offer a range of different sessions for you and your baby. These are designed to give you maximum flexibility to work with your schedule. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, as well as full day care, ranging from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, as well as 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
In these sessions, we provide your child with a large variety of care to help support their learning and deep dive into any key areas which need extra development. We’ll work with you to discuss and agree on your little one’s development goals, We’ll help address any concerns you may have and build with you a plan for their future.
