Founded in 2001 with a vision of providing safe, stimulating and innovative care for children, Pobl Bach prides itself on a colourful environment where learning opportunities are in abundance and our bilingual staff support and nurture children, recognising them as individuals.

Our team are highly qualified in all aspects of childcare including NVQ Level 3 in Childcare up to Degree level .

Nursery Manager (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to manage our Nursery in the absence of our current Manager, who will be going on Maternity Leave.

Nursery Practitioner
We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to become part of the Pobl Bach team!
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, your role would be to contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and stimulating play environment for all of our children, planning and preparing activities, as well as create and maintain positive relationships with families and parents. Requirements:
• An enthusiastic personality with creativity, drive and a willingness to learn
• A great work ethic and strong teamwork skills
• Level 2 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with babies and children from 0-5 years old
• Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Child Protection and Safeguarding certificates desired
• Welsh speaking is desirable
• Flexibility is essential
• Of course, you'll also need an Enhanced DBS check!
Nursery Practitioner
Requirements:
- Level 2 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working with babies and children from 0-5 years old
- Welsh-speaking desirable
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Keeping records of your key children’s development
and learning
Supporting all staff and engaging in a positive staff team
Developing and maintaining a strong partnership with parents/carers
Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment that meets the needs of each individual child, while having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures and medical histories.
Flexibility within working practices of the setting, undertaking other duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
Effectively delivering the curriculum to enable children to learn and develop in an environment that supports their individual needs.
Apprentice - Full Time
This is a paid apprenticeship role, where you will be part of a warm and welcoming team and gain hands-on experience as you earn your qualifications.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
- A patient disposition and ability to use your own initiative
- GCSE's grade 4-9 / C- A* or equivalent in English and Maths are desired but not essential
- Welsh-speaking desirable
